How to Check Whether a Peptide Lab Report Is Verifiable
A report can be useful evidence only when its identity, scope and connection to the stated sample can be checked. A laboratory name on a page is not, by itself, the same thing as a verifiable record.
Open the report, not just the claim
A supplier may state that materials are “lab tested” or name a laboratory. Begin with the underlying document. A usable review records what can be seen on that report rather than treating a marketing statement as the report’s content.
Five checks before drawing a conclusion

| Sample connection | A material name and, where shown, a lot or batch that can be matched. |
| Laboratory detail | The issuing laboratory is identified on the record. |
| Method and result | The report says what was examined and what was reported. |
| Scope | What the document does not establish beyond the identified sample. |
Match the lot where possible
A report about an identified sample does not automatically cover every item bearing the same product name. Compare the lot or batch field on the report with the product page. If neither field is visible, write that down as an unresolved traceability gap.

Keep method labels in context
Analytical method labels can describe a particular test. They do not establish product safety, efficacy, human suitability or wider catalogue quality. Read HPLC and Mass Spectrometry on a Peptide COA before extending a method label beyond its stated scope.
Use precise wording
Useful language stays narrow: “the sampled report identifies a laboratory and lot,” “the report date is visible,” or “we could not link this document to a current product lot.” This is more informative than declaring that an entire supplier is verified or unverified from one file.
