1. Current supplier claims

Pinnacle Peptide Labs currently presents itself as a U.S.-based research supplier with batch-specific documentation and a stated ≥99% purity standard. The homepage says COAs are made available on applicable product pages and that documentation availability may vary by item and batch.

The supplier's FAQ says all products are tested by certified third-party laboratories and that COAs are available to verify identity and purity of each batch. It also says products are not sterile unless clearly labelled otherwise and are not intended for injection or human/veterinary use. These statements are recorded as supplier-provided evidence until the underlying documents are independently inspected.

2. Batch documentation example

The current BPC-157 10mg product page exposes separate links for a Purity COA and an Endotoxin Report, and labels the product as having batch-specific documentation and a ≥99% purity standard. This is stronger than a generic statement that “COAs exist,” because the page presents documentation at the product/batch level.

However, the existence of a document link does not by itself establish what analytical methods, acceptance criteria, laboratory credentials or sample identifiers are contained in the PDF. Those details are part of the next document-level audit.

3. Laboratory and dispute-testing policy

Pinnacle's refund policy says products undergo third-party COA verification and names five laboratories that it accepts for customer purity/quantity disputes: Freedom Diagnostics, TrustPointe Analytics, MZ Biolabs, Janoshik Analytical and Prime Laboratories. It requires an unopened sealed vial, chain-of-custody or sample verification and testing within 14 days.

This policy is useful evidence of an operational testing framework, but it is not equivalent to independent confirmation that every Pinnacle batch was tested by each of those laboratories. We will not infer that relationship.

4. Independent external audit

A recent external vendor audit gives Pinnacle Peptide Labs a 7.3/10 score and reports third-party COA work from Horizon Analytical and BTLabs (BioTools), with COA evidence on file for 9 of 16 catalogued products. The same audit notes that the live site did not expose a complete public lab-results index and that operating history is a weaker category.

We use this source only as a secondary audit trail. Its score is not imported into the Peptide Choice Scorecard because its weights, sampling and definitions are different from ours.

5. Important evidence limitation

The current Pinnacle site has changed substantially over time, and public sources do not all describe the same documentation surface. One current page exposes detailed batch COA links, while the external audit notes that the broader public catalogue previously lacked batch numbers, dates and laboratory names on many product pages.

That means date matters. We will distinguish current documentation from historical audit observations instead of mixing them into a single timeless conclusion.

• How many current catalogue products have directly accessible COA PDFs?
• Do the current PDFs consistently show batch number, test date, laboratory identity, HPLC method and MS identity data?
• Which laboratory performed each current batch test, and can the relevant laboratory credentials or verification routes be established?
• How consistently are endotoxin and sterility results reported across the catalogue?
• Can historical external results be tied to current inventory without assuming continuity?

7. Why we are withholding a numerical score

Pinnacle has enough public documentation to justify a full review, but not enough directly inspected current batch evidence for us to pretend that a precise score is already established. The supplier's documentation surface is also evolving, so the correct approach is to capture the current state and then audit a representative sample of underlying COAs.

Our final score will separate documentation transparency, analytical evidence, evidence coverage and business transparency. Supplier claims will not receive the same weight as directly inspectable laboratory documents.
